Autodesk的確有一款新的產品叫Factory Design Suite，是一款軟件套裝。其基本的構想是：
1、AutoCAD Architecture，幫助完成基本廠房的構建，本身就是AutoCAD的底，可以很好的解決在佈局設計中的軸網的問題，2D的Layout，包括牆體等等；
2、Inventor Factory ,完成設備的佈置，包括一些設備參數化、系列化的構建，提供了一些庫，同時提供了一些比較好的建庫工具，比iPart，iAssembly更方便，也更符合佈局設計的要求，例如每個設備都應該有定位面，以及與其它設備的連接點等等；
3.、Navisworks作為整個工廠的漫遊及乾涉檢查的平台，由於能夠支持更多的數據格式，而且再大的裝配也不在話下，支持Cloud Point，這樣現有建築的掃描數據也能支持，實現較為真實的”虛擬“再現。 (sleepless)
