BurnAware的界面清晰簡單，功能分類一目瞭然。它支持我們最常用的CD光盤、DVD光盤的刻錄以及最新的藍光光盤（Blu-ray Disc）的刻錄，實在是相當實用。整個軟件沒有過多花俏界面裝飾，按鍵都很少，有點空曠的感覺，所以我想使用起來是相當簡單容易上手的；當然，無論如何，軟件依舊附帶了一份很詳盡的幫助文檔，以備有需要的用戶隨時查閱。
BurnAware運行之後，在程序窗口左邊選擇你需要刻錄的光盤類型，之前提到的，有CD、DVD和藍光光盤，每個標籤下對應的功能是基本相同的，可以製作以保存文件數據為主的數據光盤或啟動光盤，用於影碟或音樂類型的媒體光盤以及製作光盤鏡像（ISO或針對光盤種類的鏡像）；還有就是兩個最常用的光盤工具，用於查看光盤信息和擦寫光盤數據（必須是可讀寫光盤）。
