數字音頻的不斷發展，鼓手和吉它手被採樣合成器代替了。人聲一直是沒有辦法作到，這一次，人聲也被合成器模仿了。
VOCALOID是世界上第一個人聲合成器，音樂家可以在PC上自由的模擬人聲，這不是採樣的，而是真正利用合成器的原理，人的發聲原理模擬出來的人聲。它可以模仿人聲的各種唱腔，發音及其它聲音性質。有了VOCALOID，人成為一種樂器。
VOCALOID由YAMAHA公司開發音頻引擎,是zero-g公司使用YAMAHA公司的技術製作的一個全新的人聲編輯器。一共有叁套。Leon、Lola,Mariam。
Vocaloid可以根據你輸入的歌詞來生成相應的歌唱人聲，軟件擁有一個vocallibraries（人聲庫），通過輸入的歌詞從人聲庫裡生成人聲。這樣做小樣時可以不需要歌手了，自己來模擬吧。

Leon是應用VocalLoid技術的男聲合成器，它特別適用於做一些男聲的伴音。
Lola是應用VocalLoid技術的女聲合成器，它特別適用於做一些女聲的伴音。

includestheVOCALOIDsoftware.Yamahaisnotcurrently
planningtoselltheactualVOCALOIDsoftwareengineasa
dedicatedproduct."Vocallibraries"willbelaunched
ontothemarketastheproductsofvarioussoundware
developers.

安裝方法：

安裝前確認自己的電腦有網卡，能不能上網無所謂，只要有就可以

1。解壓縮出CUE文件，然後使用DaemonTools虛擬成光區
2。運行SETUP安裝
3。安裝完後，運行唯一的那個ZIP文件裡的Keymaker（一定將Keymaker解壓縮到硬件再運行），會自己生成一個VOCALOID_Activati??onKey的TXT文件
4。運行開始菜單中，VOCALOID的activate
5。選擇第3項
6。寫序列號：BDNG7YR4FLWMTDDA
7。完成！
