關於課程

AbouttheCourse

ThiscourseprovidesahistoricalstudyoftheoriginsofChristianitybyanalyzingtheliteratureoftheearliestChristianmovementsinhistoricalcontext,concentratingontheNewTestament.Althoughtheologicalthemeswilloccupymuchofourattention,thecoursedoesnotattemptatheologicalappropriationoftheNewTestamentasscripture.Rather,theimportanceoftheNewTestamentandotherearlyChristiandocumentsasancientliteratureandassourcesforhistoricalstudywillbeemphasized.AcentralorganizingthemeofthecoursewillfocusonthedifferenceswithinearlyChristianity(-ies).
有關戴爾馬丁教授

戴爾馬丁教授是耶魯大學宗教研究院的Woolsey教授。他在阿比林基督教大學、普林斯頓神學院和耶魯大學接受教育。他的研究主要是探索新約，基督教的起源、希臘羅馬世界、古老家族與古代世界的性別與性傾向。馬丁教授被授予由全國人文學科基金會，富布賴特委員會，亞歷山大馮洪堡基金會和禮來基金會頒發的獎學金。他是美國藝術與科學學院（選出2009年）學會的成員。他發表的刊物包括SlaveryasSalvation,TheCorinthianBody,InventingSuperstition,SexandtheSingleSavior,andPedagogyoftheBible。
