課程概述與目標

Thelawsofthermodynamicsandtheirapplicationstoequilibriaandthepropertiesofmaterialswillbeintroducedinthiscourse.Studentswillbeabletoanalyzebehaviorofsolids,liquidsandgasesintermsoftheirthermodynamicproperties.Itismeanttoprovideafoundationtotreatgeneralphenomenainmaterialsscienceandengineering,includingequilibria,phasetransformationsandchemicalreactions.Anotheremphasiswillbeputonguidingthestudentstogetusedtosolvingtheproblemspertainingtomultiphaseequilibriaasinterpretedbyphasediagrams.
