Igavethis5starsbecausemy2.5yodaughterisaCailloufanaticandshelovesit(Ilivewithit).Thisisanewervideo*without*thepuppetsthateverykidseemstohate,andalotlessofthewhiningfoundinoldervideos.Theepisodesonthisvideoaremuchmorepositive,constructiveandcreativethanmanyothersIhaverented.MuchmoreliketheepisodesyouwouldtypicallyseeonPBSnow.MUCHlessofthebrattywhinyCaillouyouwillfindinoldercollections.IboughtthisoneafterIrentedittomakesureitwasok.Helpothercustomersfindthemosthelpfulreviews

Forthelifeofme,I'llneverunderstandwhatitisaboutCaillouandtherestofhisfamilythatutterlytransfixesmykids.He'sawhiny,inexplicablychrome-domedlittlepersonwhoseemstocraveattentionallthetime...andyet,hereIam,buying(andrating)hisDVDs.

Forpint-sizedCailloufans(andthemomsanddadswhohavetolistentohim),&quot;CailloutheCreative&quot;isactuallyagoodbuy.Gone--thankfully--arethemawkishpuppetskitsinvolvingCailluo'sdoganddinosaurthatalwaysseemedtoannoymylittleguys.Theepisodesalsofeatureacalmer,morematureCaillouwhooftentriestohelphislittlesisterandhisfolks.Thenoteddemeanorchangeisawelcomerelief,especiallywhentheDVDgetsplayedonanendlessloop.Helpothercustomersfindthemosthelpfulreviews
