ThelegacyversionofthesymbolicsenginewillremainintheMathcad6.0versionand(eventually)intheMathcad7.0versionsothatcustomerscanuseitalongwiththenewsymbolicsengine.Thelegacysymbolicsenginewillstayforthesetworeleasessothatuserscangetusedtothenewerversionwhilestillworkingonworksheetsmadefromolderversionsthey’veused.OnceMathcad8.0isreleased,thelegacysymbolicsenginewillgoawayandthenewsymbolicsenginefromtheMathcad6.0versionwillbethenewnorm.

Therearenomorelimitationswithcustomsizes!Leftandrightmargindimensionscanbecustomsetaswellasheaderandfooterdimensions.Thereisnowalegacymarginsettingyoucanconverttointhenewworksheets,soifyou’vecreatedworksheetsinMathcad15(orolderversions),youcannowmatchthedimensionsthatyou’rebuildinginPrimetobethesameasthoseyouusedtobuildout.Essentiallyifyouhavealargecompanylogoandyouneedalargerheaderorifyouwouldlikethesmallestmarginspossibletofitthemostyoucanonyourworksheet–thenyoucandothesethingswiththenewsettings.

TheimageinChartAppcannowbesavedasa.PNGfiletoembeditinanotherapplication,morecharttemplateswithpre-definedsettingshavebeenadded,anduserscannowzoominandoutoftheplotdisplaywithintheChartApp.TheChartAppHelpcannowbeaccesseddirectlyfromtheChartAppwindowforeasieraccess.
