MoomforMac是一款專為Mac準備的窗口管理工具，它能夠讓您移動和縮放窗口–使用鼠標或鍵盤–預定義的位置和大小，或到全屏模式。

Draggingthehalfwidth/heighticonsafewpixels—insteadofclicking—transformsthem,givingyouevenmoreoptionsforarrangingwindows:

-Move&ZoomtoBottomRightQuarter
-Move&ZoomtoBottomLeftQuarter

Quartersavailableviadraggingdependuponwhichiconsyoudrag.Forinstance,thelefthalficonletsyouzoomtothetopleftcornerbydraggingup,andzoomtothebottomleftcornerbydraggingdown.

MultipleDisplays
Dragthoseiconsevenfurthertowardsanotherdisplay,andyou'llseealittlearrowpopup,suchasthisone:

Providedthere'sadisplaythere,youcancombineanyzoomiconwithanydraggingdirectiontozoomandmovetoanotherdisplayatthesametime.

Grid
Moom'smousecontrolsoptionallyincludeagridthatletsyouresizeandmovewindowsbydraggingyourmouseacrossitssegments.Youcanconfigurethenumberofsegments(widthandheight)inthegridinMoom'sSettings.

SnaptoEdges
Inadditiontousingthegridortheoverlay,youcanmoveandzoomwindowsbydraggingthemtoscreenedges.
Apreviewshapeappearswhendragging,soyouknowexactlywhatyou'llgetwhenyoureleasethemousebutton.
Eachedge(fullscreen,halfscreen)andcorner(fullscreen,quarterscreen)canhaveadistinctaction,andyou'reincontroloverthedelaybeforetheactionoccurs.
Youcaneven(optionally)undoanyMoomactionbysimplydraggingawindowawayfromitsmovedandzoomedlocation.

UsetheKeyboard
Oncesetup,youcanusethekeyboardtozoomwindowstofull/half/quarter-screensizes,movethem(whileoptionallyconfiningthemtothedisplay)around,sendthemtoanotherdisplay;growandshrinkthem,centerthem,andrevertthemtotheirpre-Moomingdimensions.

Afterpressingthekeyboardmodetriggerkeyyoudefine,anonscreenoverlayappears.Whiletheoverlayisvisible,youcanuseeasy-to-rememberkeys(e.g.,thearrowkeys,plusReturn,Tab,andSpace)tocontrolthefrontmostwindow,insteadofhavingtomemorizetonsofoutlandishkeycombos.

SaveYourWindowLayouts
Moommakesitsosimpletoarrangeyourwindows,you'llquicklyfindyourselfwithanicely-organizedscreen,witheachappresidinginitsownspace,justasyoulikeit.Butasyouworkthroughtheday,you'llprobablymovewindowsaround,resizeotherwindows,andwatchasyournicelyorganizedwindowlayoutdevolvesintochaos.

Afterlayingoutyourwindowsasyouwish,createanewArrangeWindowsCustomControl,andclicktheSaveSnapshotbutton.Thiswillsavethelayout—sizeandlocation—ofallopenedwindows(optionallynotsavingobscuredwindows).Later,whenyouwantyourcustomarrangementback,typethekeyboardshortcut,oractivatethesavedlayoutviaMoom'smenus.

YoucancreateasmanyArrangeWindowsCustomControlsasyouwish,soyoucaneasilyrestorewindowlayoutsfordifferingtasks,suchaswebsurfing,writing,programming,etc.

TheManyPhasesof(the)Moom
Moomcanruninthreedifferentmodes.WhenruninStandardmode,MoomwillhaveaDockiconandmenuitemsinthemenubar.InMenuBarmode,Moomwillonlyexistinyourmenubar;clickthemenubaricontoaccessitssettings.Finally,inFacelessmode,youwon'tseeanysignofMoom'sexistenceatall—otherthanthefactthatitwillbesittingthere,readytogowhenyouneedit.(ToaccessMoom'ssettingswheninFacelessmode,justdouble-clickontheMoomapplicationiconintheFinder.)
