FolderHighlightisasmallbutpowerfultoolthatchangesthevisualappearanceofthefoldersinyourPC.WithFolderHighlightyoucanquicklychangethecolorofanyfolder.EventhoughWindowsalreadyallowsyoutocustomizefoldericonsforthispurpose,FolderHighlightisamucheasiertouseasitintegratesintotheExplorerright-clickmenu,soyoucanquicklymarkanyfolderwithouthavingtogothroughadditionaldialogs.FolderHighlightisveryeasytousenomatterhowmuchdoyouknowaboutyourPC.Tochangecolorofafolder,right-clicktherequiredfolderwithyourmouse,selectFolderHighlightinthecontextmenuandthenchooseasuitableappearanceforthefolder.

Wereceiveabout80%ofallinformationthroughtheeyes,andthesame80%ofourmemoriesconsistofimages.Whenyouarebrowsingthroughdozensofvisuallysimilarfolders,youarenotusingyourvisiontoitsfullextentandthusyouractivityislesseffectivethanitcouldbe.Butifsomeofthesefoldershaveadifferentcolor,theywillcatchtheeyefasterthanyoureadtheirname.Thiswayyoucaneasilydifferentiatebetweenfoldersandbrowsemuchfaster,becauseyouareusingyourvisionmuchmoreefficiently.
