EasyDiskCatalogMaker是一人製作光盤內容索引的工具，它的主要功能就是幫我們將每張光盤的文件、文件夾等清單建檔，下次需要從光盤裡找資料時，可以先用EasyDiskCatalogMaker瀏覽或搜索一下，再依照光盤名稱或編號來取出要用的光盤即可，快速又方便。

EasyDiskCatalogMaker除了可以掃瞄、索引一般文件與文件夾之外，還可掃瞄壓縮文件內部的文件清單讓我們日後找資料時更精確、方便，支持的壓縮包括：.001,.7z,.arj,.bz2,.bzip2,.cab,.cpio,.dmg,.deb,.gz,.gzip,.hfs,.lzh,.lzma,.iso,.tar,.tbz,.tbz2,.rar,.rpm,.vhd,.wim,.zip…等。
