羅蘭雲在本屆展會上很自豪的宣佈將SRXWORLD和DrumStudio-AcousticOne添加到其不斷擴展的雲軟件合成器、鼓機和採樣樂器中。

SRXWORLD基於Roland開創性的硬件擴展卡，同時適應現代要求，滿載來自世界各地的音色。從didgeridoo（迪吉里杜管，澳大利亞的一種土著樂器）到tabla（塔布拉鼓，印度的一種手敲小鼓），berimbau（巴西的一種打擊樂器）再到sitar（西塔琴，印度的一種大弦彈撥樂器）。SRXWORLD這個創意項目可以滿足電影領域的需要。無論在哪裡製作音樂，從香港到芬蘭，或者地圖上的任何地方，SRXWORLD的全球音色都能讓全球用戶觸手可及。

DrumStudiouseshigh-resolutionextendedsamples.Duringthesamplingprocess,weexceedthenormal127velocitystepsbyrecordingvolumesthatareafractionofsinglevelocityamplitude.Wecaptureupto300samplestocreatethesefractionalvelocitiesandmultiplesamplesfallwithinasinglevalue.Forexample,avelocityof95hasmultipleassociatedsamples,eachwithitsownminorvariances.

RRS(RoundRobinSound)SampleRandomization

TotakeadvantageoftheHRESsamples,DrumStudioutilizesa‘roundrobin’randomizationfeatureorRRSSampleRandomization.PlaythesamevelocityandtheRRSwillrandomizethesamplesthathavebeenassignedtothatsinglevalue.Strikevelocity95repeatedlyandRRSwilltriggerdifferentsamplestoavoid“machinegun”playback.Youthenhavesettingswhichcanmodifythebehaviortosuityourpreference.Thiscreatesamorerealistic,dynamic,andnuancedperformance.
